i have a new recipe...it may cause you to eat a larger portion than you should...so read at your own risk!
tonight's taco night:
1 lb ground turkey
1 tsp olive oil
1 half small onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 tsp sea salt
3 TBS burrito seasoning spice (taco seasoning would be fine, too)
1/4 C lime juice
2 tsp fresh lemon thyme
saute the onion in olive oil for 5 minutes. add garlic. add salt. add turkey meat. brown turkey meat for 5 minutes. add burrito seasoning and lime juice and cook for another 3 minutes. add fresh lemon thyme and cook for a few more minutes.
go crazy with the toppings like tomatoes, salsa, lettuce, and fat free sour cream! i even chopped up the leafy parts of celery instead of lettuce. YUM!!
i'm not on WW (my mom is and she thinks they are about 3 pts each, depending on your shell) so i don't know how many points my little tacos were but i consumed THREE! (in total, about a quarter pound of the meat mix-is that bad?) they were soooo flavorful!! AND healthy!!
oh, and it's best NOT to have a slice of cheesecake for dessert after dinner. tee hee
