"five" is two

when someone asks macrae what his name is he answers "five." seriously. is he so smart...i'm not sure if his thinking is "high five" = "hi five."

anyway, today he is TWO. that's right. last year he wore a size 24 months on his first birthday. today he's wearing 2t.

oh man, he is all muscle these days. today i asked him if i was his girlfriend and he said "no, isla." but i knew he was just messing with me.

i tried not to cry when i left you in the classrooom. macrae asked about you all morning. by now you are probably getting ready to finish your first day of kindergarten. i'm sure you are excited to get on a real school bus for the first time. in a few minutes i'm going to get the boys ready to meet you at the bus stop. i wonder how many new friends you made today. i sure did miss you!
