baby smurf

as of late, i haven't been saying much on this blog. there are a couple really good reasons for this.

#1. i don't have time to write. it's enough just to get my pictures on here. right?
#2. i used to think i was a good writer and funny...and maybe i was, once. why waiste your time with my silly revivals of parker kids growing up. i can just keep it all in my heart. right?
and #3. (this is a secret of mine) i don't always read other people's blogs. i sometimes just look at the pictures. that's a time thing, also. so i assume, you don't read mine, either. either way, i'm saving YOU time.

i guess if you're reading this. you are the blog "reading" type.

anyway, this is what happened today while i was settling in with my lunch and the remote control (catching up on some Rachel Zoe):
i left the kids in the kitchen with paper, markers, and glue sticks. rhett was crawling around on the floor investigating the scraps. about 10 minutes into my DVRDed program i hear isla laughing. and this is what came around the corner...

One special evening, Baby Smurf was delivered to the village via a stork! Baby has magical powers and speaks in baby-talk. It is not known whether Baby is a girl or a boy.

~ how many of you watched the smurfs growing up? and even better, how many rescued smurfette from gargamel and azriel through your coleco vision? anyone? anyone?

no, really, this is what i saw...

and i just had to laugh.

well he looks happy! So that's a good day in my book. And extra credit for not having a sharpie catastrophe!

What a cute little smurf you have. Okay, I remember walking up to the Hi-School Pharmacy on Lieser from Grandma's and looking at smurf figurines to buy!

I was reading this yesterday (yes, really reading) and when I looked up, Norah was smearing a glue stick all over her lips. I guess I have to get her some play makeup.

I think you are a funny writer. I am "banannas" for Rachel Zoe, I just love her. I also used to love Smurfette. Brandon did such a great job on your house.
