movin' on up

we returned from CDA to find our baby boy a little more grown up. he's trying to crawl?

HAPPY HOUR

the day in CDA was absolutely gorgeous! while bp worked, i relaxed reading (This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Pfitzgerald) , laying out, walking around the town, and visiting SONIC for my diet coke with fresh lime. oh yah. it was just what i needed.

CDA ~getaway

today i packed up a few things to get away with bp. he has a work gig in Coeur D'alene so i decided i would go along for a quick romantic trip. it has been almost 3 years since we have gone somewhere by ourselves. {a little overdue}

it broke my heart to leave little rhett. {thanks keirra for taking my baby at the last minute}

and now i'm waiting for brandon to take me to dinner.

stop growing up

little miss isla graduated robin's nest preschool.

{this year it's for real, not like last year}

the kids did an adorable performance showing us many of the cute things miss robin had taught them throughout the year.

miss robin is so sweet. isla loved every minute of being in her class. the first thing isla did the next morning was ask if she could go to school and see miss robin. she already misses her!

i can't believe i will be taking her to kindergarten next year. the mere thought of her being in the big, cruel, world makes me sad.

the drooler

and with good reason, he cut 2 teeth last week. dang, he's delicious! rolling back and forth and scooting around the room. can't i stop him from growing up???

this is what sunday evening looked like tonight. when brandon came cruising down the driveway on his longboard, macrae went nuts.

here's isla, pouting until it was her turn. girls are hilarious!

then she got her turn and macrae couldn't handle sharing.

heat wave

last weeks weather {mid 90's HELLO!} had the parkers busting out swimsuits EVERY DAY. it was awesome! it has now cooled off and i'm missing it already.
